one skein wonders [Oct. 5th, 2005|12:31 pm]

I posted this on crochetville, and thought I'd post it here too. I am going to make a page with all of the pattern suggestions I get. So if you know of any one skein (or less) patterns, please contribute! I will link to the pattern owners site, or host it on vigilant20.com for free with proper credit if you need hosting for your pattern :) Just comment on my blog or email me with your links or patterns.

I'm in a hard place right now, and I've only been able to find the occasional temporary position. Which means I have tons of time to crochet but no money for supplies. So I can't run out and get new yarn for patterns when it calls for more than what I have. I do have a small stash left still and am busy doing small projects.

So what I really need is to find more patterns that only take one skein or less. I'd prefer patterns using worsted weight yarn, but I thought maybe we could open up a thread of all sorts of one skein FREE patterns for other people in this situation or who just want to do some stash cleaning

My mom signed up for TLC beacause she knows how much I love their paper. When she signed I found out that the monthly minimum to buy or sell is only $25. If you sign up for the artist choice it covers the minimum and you get 2 cool kits every month. That is so cool. So you get a discount, plus store credit on what you buy or sell and only $25 minimum. I alway spend over $25 a month on scrapbooking stuff! I can't wait to have enough for the starter kit. I am so signing up too. I have enough for the main starter kit cause it is only $49 but I really want the add on starter kit too. There is a ton of stuff in the 2 kits at like 1/2 off. It is so worth signing up. Check it out!!!

Throw this coffee cup cozy in your purse so you can slip it on your cup when you buy coffee in the morning. It will save your fingers from being burned and keep your coffee warm a bit longer. :)
